One Easy Monthly Invoice

Overview

One Bill has partnered with National Benefit Partners (NBP) to manage the consolidated billing process and serve as your primary contact for adds, terms, and changes. NBP works directly with your groups and their selected carriers to combine all premiums into a single monthly invoice. Each group will make one monthly payment to NBP, who will then distribute the appropriate premium amounts to each carrier, at no cost to you or your groups. They will also serve as the central depot for all changes, adds, and terms.

Process

Choose Your Benefits – In this initial stage, employers choose which products to offer. Employees then review the suite of products available through One Bill and choose which best suits their needs. They can pick as many or as few as they like.

Enrollment – Once selections are made, employees enroll through the enrollment method chosen by the employer that captures all required data. Through our consolidated biller, One Bill is integrated with Employee Navigator and Selerix. If you are not, don’t worry…they will also accept files from any other enrollment platform or our One Bill census enrollment spreadsheet.

Consolidated Billing – Once a month, One Bill produces a single, itemized invoice that aggregates premiums across all chosen carriers and lines of coverage. This “one bill” approach streamlines reconciliation for the employer and eliminates the need to track multiple remittance schedules. Groups can choose to pay each month by check, ACH, or EFT.

Connected to your carriers – Not only are your groups going to get a consolidated bill each month (at no cost to you or your groups); but One Bill is also the central depot for ongoing changes, adds, and terms. They will all be handled through the One Bill TPA as well.

All other ongoing administration – After each carrier receives the enrollment data, they will reach out to the group directly to complete any required group paperwork. Timing may vary by carrier, and some may request documentation prior to finalizing enrollment. Except for consolidated billing, billing questions, and changes/adds/terms, all other administration, such as new group setup, ongoing customer service, benefit questions, and claims, will be handled directly by the respective carriers.

Reporting – Your groups can get ongoing reporting from One Bill. You can request reports by carrier, product, or member.
